1.) Own a 2000 year model or newer 3/4ton or larger truck in good mechanical condition.
2.) Vehicle must be plated at 26,000lbs.
3.) Commercial grade mud flaps installed that covers the entire width of the wheel (both wheels if it is a dully) and no more than 4 inches from the ground.
4.) Fifth wheel hitch (minimum of 16k).
5). Class 5-rear receiver hitch with a 2" and 2 5/16" ball mount.
6.) 3 reflective triangles and a mounted fire extinguisher.
7.) A set of basic hand tools
8.) 12-volt battery for trailers.
9.) Current federal DOT truck inspection required.
10.)Two seven way plugs, one in the rear and one in the bed of the truck.
Having basic knowledge of truck/trailer wiring hitches, brakes, suspensions, and drivelines allowing one to quickly solve minor problems.
